1. Overview

This policy explains how Cyrix handles personal and business information collected through this website and the Cyrix platform, and summarises the regulatory basis on which Cyrix operates.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly — such as your name, work email, company details and risk information submitted through the contact form on this site or a Cyrix assessment — and information collected automatically through ordinary site operation, such as general usage and device information.

3. How we use information

To respond to enquiries, route you to the right advisor, assess and price risk where you request a recommendation or quote, and improve the Cyrix platform. Cyrix does not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Data protection & the DPDP Act

Cyrix processes personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We collect only what is needed to respond to you and deliver the services you request, process it on the basis of your consent or another lawful ground, and keep it only for as long as that purpose requires or the law obliges us to. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.

5. Cookies & tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It is hosted by a third-party provider and loads its fonts from third-party font services, which may process basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the page. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this section first.

6. Sharing with third parties

Cyrix may share information with insurers, reinsurance and risk-service partners strictly as needed to deliver the assessment, mitigation or cover you request, and with service providers who support Cyrix’s own operations, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you may request a summary of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or erase it, nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, and raise a grievance about how it has been handled. To do so, write to Cyrix using the contact details below.

8. Regulatory disclosures

Cyrix operates under IRDAI Direct Broker Licence No. IRDA/DB/548. Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation. Any cover is provided by the relevant insurer and is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of its policy wording. Please read the policy wording carefully before concluding a sale.

9. Grievance redressal

If you have a complaint about our services or about how your information has been handled, write to us at the address below and we will acknowledge it and work to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response to an insurance-related complaint, you may escalate it through IRDAI’s grievance channels or to the Insurance Ombudsman; data-protection complaints may be taken to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy or a request relating to your information can be sent to advisors@cyrixfirst.com.
